The Villány-Siklós Wine Road is situated in the southernmost wine region of Hungary, on the mild hills of the Villány Mountains, stretching out for some 30 km. It covers ten settlements and their vineyards. Villánykövesd is one of the most beautiful villages of the German ethnic population living in Baranya County, whose citizens have been dealing with viticulture and wine production for centuries. Hotel Cabernet can be found in the heart of the world famous cellar-village protected for its architectural value. Its neatly furnished rooms, all with bath, are equipped with phone and TV set. There are 21 double rooms and four rooms with three beds in the hotel, which, together with the ample foyer and the terrace, provide even larger companies and groups arriving by bus with a comfortable accommodation. Our conference room, equipped at a high technical level and with a translator's room, can seat up to 60 people and is perfectly suitable for conferences and trainings. The Görbe Pince ("Curvy Cellar") Restaurant, created within the hotel, awaits the guests visiting the wine road with a wide variety of foods cooked after special local recipes typical of the region and a wine-storing cellar with 6000 bottles. Services of the Hotel include a cellar restaurant and wine cellar, conference room (for 60 persons, with air conditioning). If ordered we are ready to organize trips and excursions to our Guests.
